Programs Overview

Our programs focus on theater arts & creative writing, movement, and environmental and cultural studies. Through a unique blend of art, games, and storytelling, our interdisciplinary workshops offer entertaining academic enrichment and help students build socio-emotional skills through team-building activities.

Theater arts

In this workshop, kids will team up with peers to complete games and challenges to unlock their inner-podcaster. During these challenges, kids build on their acting, voice, and character skills while exploring different cultures and geographies. Kids flex their investigation skills, detecting real and fictional facts related to the theme before writing and recording their very own original podcast to help solidify learning themes.

Parent testimonial

Amazing!!! Our child absolutely loved Podquest. As I listened to the podcasts, I couldn’t stop smiling and imagining Eva being a reporter on NPR’s Radiolab. Now I understand why she had so much fun in class. Thank you for creating these wonderful opportunities.

-Bengi L. , Parent

Movement

In this workshop, children embark on a scavenger hunt to discover the natural ecosystems that make up our world. Kids will piece together clues, hear native stories from different cultures and create fun art projects. By the end of each mission, students will leave with a deeper appreciation for the land and living things on our earth.

Teacher testimonial

I am very satisfied with Scavenger Stories who came to Wetherby-Pembridge New York to give a workshop about Mexico to celebrate Mexican Day. I would highly recommend them to any school that is looking to use immersion and creativity into the learning process.

Absolutely amazing!”

School testimonial

“Anthony and his staff did an amazing job of engaging our students in new and creative ways. The content of the class was relevant to the lives of our students and encouraged them to explore topics with true depth. I'm excited to continue working with Scavenger Stories in our programs at Léman Manhattan.”
