Middle Grade
Tiffin G. and the Sunken Sea
Tiffin Gupta needs a little more luck than your average 11-year-old boy from India. His cruel uncle is planning to make him a street beggar with one less limb so Tiffin stows away on a ship heading out to the ocean. But things get much worse when the ship gets sucked through a sea portal and lands on a cursed island. In this new world, Tiffin and his crew will need to find all the clues (and defeat a seemingly endless supply of child-gulping creatures) to open the portal back to earth. Given Tiffin’s doomed life so far, this may be very wishful thinking.

Akin’s Antlers
My DragonWagon
Chulachakita’s had Enough!
Akin, a young reindeer living in the tundra, is able to make lots of friends by acting like a snow goat or gluing pine cones to his head. However, he has one very big problem: he can’t grow antlers. Fortunately, Akin records this rough first year in his Rein-diary. Through all of his challenges, Akin will have to learn how to value his strengths instead of his weak points.
Marcoo, like any other 7-year-old gnome, wants a DragonWagon. Well, it's going to take a lot more than cleaning up a few giant nose hairs for his parents to trust he can take care of this riding monster. Is Marcoo brave enough to shovel pet droppings, clip moldy scales, and brush a pimply tongue to win over his family or will he get stuck knee deep in dragon snot?
Chulachakita is following in her father’s footsteps as a guardian of the rainforest. But her father is scaring the villagers off instead of welcoming them into this enchanted place. How will she get the villagers to return while at the same time persuade her father to be a little more kind to people? Perhaps a shapeshifting flute could help.
